Modifying the TAC-SCM Server to Support Repeated Pseudo-Random Sequences: A Proposal
نویسندگان
چکیده
The TAC SCM server is designed to generate highly variable market conditions in order to challenge the adaptability of competing agents. One problem area for TAC SCM research is the amount of time researchers must expend in order to glean significant results from test simulations. We propose changes to the server that address this issue, in the hope that more efficient testing will lead to more interesting analysis from TAC researchers, as well as make the game more welcoming for TAC SCM newcomers.

Objectives: Acquisition motor skill training in elderly is at great importance. The main purpose of this study was to compare young and elderly performance in serial reaction time task on different repeated and random conditions. Methods & Materials: A serial reaction time task by using software was applied for studying motor learning in 30 young and 30 elderly. Each group divided randomly i...
متن کاملOn the Properties of Pseudo Noise Sequences with a Simple Proposal of Randomness Test
Maximal length sequences (m-sequences) are also known as pseudo random sequences or pseudo noise sequences for closely following Golomb’s popular randomness properties: (P1) balance, (P2) run, and (P3) ideal autocorrelation. Apart from these, there also exist certain other less known properties of such sequences all of which are discussed in this tutorial paper. Comprehensive proofs to each of ...
متن کاملThe 2007 TAC SCM Prediction Challenge
The TAC SCM Prediction Challenge presents an opportunity for agents designed for the full TAC SCM game to compete solely on their ability to make predictions. Participants are presented with situations from actual TAC SCM games and are evaluated on their prediction accuracy in four categories: current and future computer prices, and current and future component prices. This paper introduces the...

We are targeting for analysis a complex, multi-agent, repeated market simulation in which agents compete to maximize overall profit over a finite time horizon. The Trading Agent Competition for Supply Chain Management (TAC SCM), which has been run annually as a tournament for five years, is designed to model realistic supply chain and market mechanisms. In this paper, we introduce our extensibl...
متن کاملThe CrocodileAgent 2005: An Overview of the TAC SCM Agent
The Trading Agent Competition (TAC) is an international forum which promotes high quality research regarding the trading agent problem. One of the TAC competitive scenarios is Supply Chain Management (SCM) where six agents compete by buying components, assembling PCs from these components and selling the assembled PCs to customers. In this paper, we describe the strategies implemented in the Cr...
